The KA-BAR 1266 Modified Tanto is a new take on a classic blade design.  Made with our famous 1095 Cro-Van steel.  The 1266 has a Kraton G handle, a synthetic material that holds up in the elements.  The Modified Tanto comes with a rugged glass-filled nylon sheath. Please note a rolling change has been made to the markings on the 1211 series of Fighting/Utility Knives.  The "1211 USA" marking has been removed and you may receive a knife without this marking.  Only the marking has changed; this is not a change to where or how these products are made.

  • Modified Tanto is made in the USA with 1095 Cro-Van steel
  • The overall length is 12.75 and the blade length is 8.
  • The handle is made of a Kraton G, a synthetic material that is extremely durable
